Chocolate Cake

10 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened (plus extra for grease)
200 g good quality dark chocolate
100 g of sugar
3 eggs
4-5 tablespoons of ground almonds
3 tablespoons of white breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon almond essence
flour (for powder)

Break the chocolate into smaller pieces. Melt half (100 g) in a pan on a steam bath. Then allow to cool slightly.
In another bowl mix vigorously 7 tablespoons of butter with sugar until sugar dissolves and becomes creamy contents. Add the egg yolks one by one and mix well, then add the melted chocolate. When the mixture is smooth, add the almonds, bread crumbs, baking powder and almond essence. Add egg whites after being beaten foam.
Pour mixture into baking pan, buttered and dusted with flour. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 25 minutes. Then remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
Melt remaining chocolate (100g) in a pot on the steam bath with remaining butter (3 tablespoons), allow to cool slightly, then spread over cake.
