Burnt cream

(Recipe suggested by Angie)
1 liter of milk
10 eggs
350 g of sugar
1 stick of vanilla (or 1 sachet of vanilla sugar)

Melt 150 grams of sugar in a saucepan until it gets a golden color. Then spread caramel evenly on the bottom and walls of the pan. Allow to cool completely.
In a bowl mix well the eggs with the sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add vanilla, then incorporate cold milk. Then pour the mixture into the pan with caramelized sugar. Put the pan in a tray with water (water to reach about halfway up the pan) and bake in preheated oven at medium heat, about 50 minutes, until it coagulates.
Once completely cooled, keep in a refrigerator a few hours.
It is usually served at room temperature.
