Plum cake

5 eggs
4 tablespoons of sugar
7 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
500 g plums

Plum cake


Wash plums, remove stones and cut into halves or quarters.
Separate egg whites from yolks.
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until become foam. Gradually add sugar. Continue beating until the foam does not fall if you flip the boat.
Add the egg yolks one at a time, stirring gently.
Add flour mixed with baking powder gradually, little by little, rainfall, stirring gently with a spoon from the bottom up so that the composition is homogeneous, but the air does not come out of the foam.
Pour mixture in a tray dusted with flour or covered with baking paper. Place over pieces of plum.
Bake in preheated oven at medium heat, about 30 minutes, until it passes the toothpick test.
After cooling can be powder with powdered sugar.
