Polenta cake

300 g corn flour
2 tablespoons flour
1 liter milk
500 g cottage cheese
200 g sour cream
4 eggs
4-5 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

Polenta cake


Put milk and butter to boil in a pot. When starts to boil add corn flour, little by little, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. When the mixture begins to thicken remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. When nearly cold add cottage cheese, sour cream, flour and yolks. Finally add whipped egg whites and sugar.
Pour composition into a pan buttered and dusted with flour. Leave in the oven for 40-50 minutes at medium heat.
Serve hot with sour cream.
