Celery with apples

(Recipe suggested by Diana)
1 kg of apples
1 kg of celery root
300 ml of apple juice
300 ml of vinegar
200 g of sugar
3 teaspoons of capers

Celery with apples


Peel the apples and celery and cut into small cubes. Then boil them in a pot with apple juice, vinegar, sugar, capers and salt to taste. Boil about 10 minutes, enough to soften a little, but not to smash.
Store in sealed jars.
Serve with steak.
